When the week is already full
1. A familiar situation
It is Sunday evening. You meant to make time for yourself, but the calendar is already crowded. A perfect new routine feels like one more thing to manage.
2. One useful idea
Choose a slot that exists, rather than planning for a week you wish you had. Give a familiar practice a small place in it.
3. What the evidence says
NIDDK's public habit-change guidance discusses planning, anticipating barriers and reviewing setbacks. That supports the planning approach here; it does not establish a specific health benefit from our tool.
4. Try this this week
Open your calendar. Choose a time window and one activity you already know is appropriate for you. Use the slot for preparation alone if that is what fits.
5. If you have less time
Keep the intention and reduce the plan. Choose one smaller window. Preparing your space or writing down the next step can be the whole task.
6. A related tool and practice
My Week includes a smaller Plan B and an optional local save. Begin with Make room for one small practice.
7. A question for you
What would make the first step easier this week? You can answer privately in My Week's check-in or on paper. We are not collecting replies.
